Air Transport Components Acquires Aero Controls
Air Transport Components has acquired Aero Controls, a Seattle-headquartered provider of aircraft component repair and overhaul, parts sales, consignment management and engineered solutions. Air Transport Components says the acquisition strengthens its in-house engineering and proprietary repair capabilities and enhances its specialized component repair services. Aero Controls’ existing team and leadership will remain in place, and the company will operate as a business unit of Air Transport Components Group.
TAT Technologies Lands $45 Million In New MRO Contracts
TAT Technologies has announced $45 million worth of new long-term MRO agreements with commercial and cargo airline customers. The agreements include support across auxiliary power unit platforms and heat exchangers. TAT Technologies did not disclose details about specific contract values or customers, but noted the contract terms range from 5-10 years.

Condor Building A330neo Temporary Hangar At Frankfurt
Condor Technik has begun construction of a new temporary hangar at Frankfurt Airport that will be used to establish the company’s first dedicated maintenance capabilities for the Airbus A330neo fleet there. Set for completion in early 2027, the hangar will have space to accommodate an A330 or two Airbus A32X family aircraft simultaneously.

StandardAero CEO Succession
StandardAero CEO Russell Ford has announced plans to retire at the end of this year. He will be succeeded by Paul McElhinney, StandardAero’s lead independent director, who will become CEO Oct. 1. McElhinney has more than three decades of aerospace and industrial leadership, serving on StandardAero’s board since 2019 and holding leadership roles at AE Industrial Partners, GE Power Services and GE Aerospace.
Iberia Seeks EASA Part 66 Certifying Staff
Iberia has launched an initiative to recruit European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 66 B1 and B2 licensed certifying staff to its line maintenance teams as part of its Flight Plan 2030. It is particularly seeking professionals with type ratings on Airbus A320ceo/neo, A321XLR, A330 and A350 fleets.

GA Telesis, CASC Sign MRO Cooperation Deal
GA Telesis has signed an agreement with China Aviation Supplies Co. (CASC) to cooperate across several areas of aftermarket support. This includes aviation materials support, major component leasing and distribution, MRO services, and overseas asset management and support.
3TOP Aviation Services Acquires Two Embraer E190s
3TOP Aviation Services, a UK-based provider of aftermarket support and asset management, has acquired two Embraer E190-100 regional aircraft. The regional jets were previously operated by defunct Italian flag carrier Alitalia.
