NetJets is embarking on a multi-year investment to expand its Columbus, Ohio, global headquarters by more than 365,000 ft.2, with completion expected in early 2029.

The expansion will allow NetJets to better meet rising demand and the evolving expectations of customers and to accommodate future growth, it said.

The project includes the addition of two new buildings, which will house more office space and a new training center for NetJets crewmembers.

Improvements also include a new parking garage, expanded dining and event facilities and other enhancements.

The expansion plans follow the recent renovation of its NetJets Flight Center, which opened in June.

Upon completion, NetJets employment in Central Ohio is expected to reach about 3,200, an increase of about 800 employees.

Construction is expected to take place in phases over the coming years and is subject to securing final legal and regulatory approvals.

The expansion includes continued collaboration and support from the City of Columbus, Columbus Regional Airport Authority, Franklin County, the City of Gahanna, State of Ohio, Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority, JobsOhio, One Columbus and the FAA.
