HYDRO-AIRE AWARDED ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION OF APPROVAL
Burbank, Calif. - June 27, 1998 - Mr. Raymond W. Boushie, President of Hydro-Aire, Inc., a Crane Co. company, announces that Hydro-Aire's Quality Management System was awarded ISO 9001:1994, EN ISO 9001:1994, ANSI/ASQC Q9001-1994 certification of approval in November 1997 through Lloyds Register Quality Assurance, LRQA. This ISO certification encompasses the design, production, installation and servicing of our products, including software development in accordance with TicklT. Pursuant to initial certification of its Quality Management System, Hydro-Aire successfully completed its first LRQA ISO9001 surveillance assessment on June 27, 1998.
Hydro-Aire's registrar, Lloyds Registrar Quality Assurance, is recognized as a worldwide industry leader in ISO certification. Hydro-Aire's Quality system is based on world class standards and a commitment to continuous improvement.
In addition to being ISO compliant, Hydro-Aire is an FAA approved production facility, and holds numerous PMA STC and TSO approvals. Hydro-Aire also operates an FAA and JAA approved Repair Station.
