Fuselage of the First Production V-22 Osprey
Delivered to Bell

The fuselage of the first production Bell-Boeing MV-22B Osprey tilt-rotor was delivered from Boeing's Philadelphia plant to the final assembly line in Arlington, Texas, on Tuesday aboard a USAF C-17. It is due to fly in May 1999. Nineteen production MV-22s are on order, and Bell-Boeing plan to propose the V-22 for the Royal Navy's emerging Future Amphibious Support Helicopter (FASH) requirement.
