Marconi Simulator for Sweden's Malmo Airport Nears Deployment

Acceptance tests have been completed for the new CASE (controlled airspace synthetic environment) simulator designed and built by Marconi for Sweden's air traffic control services academy at Malmo's Sturup airport. It will be set up and operational by November. Marconi says users will be able "for the first time to simulate all the functionality, look and feel of the next generation of operational air traffic management systems."
