Raytheon Travel Air Completes First Year Raytheon Travel Air, the company's fractional ownership subsidiary, has completed its first year of operation with a growing fleet of 29 airplanes and fleet operations of more than 15,000 flight hours. The program provides jobs for 200 people, 125 of whom are pilots. "The company is ahead of our projected schedule established over a year ago and we are on target to exceed 35 aircraft in our fleet by the end of this year," said Travel Air president Gary Hart. "The unique position of our company to offer aircraft ownership to a new and wide range of potential customers is clearly helping individuals and corporations benefit from the ownership advantages of having their own business jets and turboprops." The Travel Air fleet consists of three Raytheon aircraft types, the Beech King Air B200, the Hawker 800XP and the Beechjet 400A. "We are excited by the success and growth this company has demonstrated in just one year of operation," Hart said. "In our first 15,000 flight hours of operation we have been able to achieve a 98% to 99% on-time performance rate. That is proof that our people are working efficiently, the aircraft are performing up to expectations and, best of all, that the fractional ownership concept is providing benefits for our customers."
