Signature Has a Midas Touch Signature Flight Support is adding maintenance support to its host of services, as well as a golden incentive program for operators to try it. The company operates five new Regional Maintenance Centers (in Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Hartford, Dallas, and West Palm Beach). Two additional RMCs will be located in Denver and at Chicago Midway. These locations make it possible for a majority of U.S.-based turbine aircraft operators to reach a Signature RMC within one hour of flying time. The Las Vegas facility will officially open its doors immediately after the convention. Additionally, Signature recently broke ground at its Denver Centennial (APA) site, which is scheduled to open in the fall of 1999. When it does, it will become the 42nd Signature global flight services facility and its sixth RMC. To encourage operators to sign up for the new Signature RMC network, called "GoldTouch," the company has launched a new "WayPoints" program, which rewards customers with free fuel for every dollar they spend on aircraft maintenance at any Signature RMC facility. Customers will earn one WayPoint for every dollar they spend on maintenance. Seventy-five waypoints earn one gallon of fuel. Customers can participate by completing a WayPoints membership application, which is available in the Signature exhibit area (Booth 7120) at the convention, or at any of the 39 Signature Flight Support facilities worldwide. To assist customers in tracking their current WayPoints balances, Signature will issue quarterly statements to program participants. In addition, periodic specials are being planned to allow customers to earn bonus WayPoints at various times throughout the year. Signature will send participants fuel certificates in increments of 50 or 100 gallons, which then can be presented at any Signature facility. Signature is rewarding 1,000 bonus points to customers signing up for waypoints before December 31, 1998. By Mal Gormley | ||||||
