On-Board Data Systems to Produce Pro Line IV Checklists

On-Board Data Systems (OBDS) of Mirabel, Quebec has signed a five-year license agreement with Rockwell Collins to produce electronic checklists for Pro Line IV avionics. Pro Line IV checklists are tailored online by the operator for transfer from the Internet to the aircraft. On-Board Data's president, Thomas Murray, says the new agreement indicates the viability of customizable checklists. "For the first time, operators will be able to receive abnormal and emergency procedures in parallel with the approved flight manual revision cycle," Murray said. "Our electronic checklists are also customizable at our Web site (www.obds.ca), making them not only useful, but easily modified." OBDS, which is exhibiting at Booth N137, supports checklist systems for a variety of systems, including the Collins AMS-850 and EFIS-85, and Honeywell SPZ-8000 and Primus 2000.
