NEXWOS Graphic Weather Display Developed by SMI

Systems Management Inc. (Booth 3614), manufacturer of the NEXWOS Automated Weather Observing System, has developed a graphic weather display software program that can run on any PC with Windows 95/98 or Windows NT. The display provides real-time wind information on a compass rose with digital display of wind speed, wind gust and wind direction. Also displayed are altimeter settings, temperature and dew point readings, cloud height and visibility. SMI has produced and installed more than 900 automated surface observation systems throughout the U.S. and has delivered more than 60 non-federal systems to states, municipalities, private airports and heliports.
