WSI's Enhanced PILOTbrief Vector Y2K Certificated

The FAA has certificated as year 2000-compliant the latest version of Weather Services International's PILOTbrief Vector preflight weather briefing system. The new version is network compatible, allowing any PC user with an Ethernet TCP/IP connection to have rapid access. Significantly, the certification allows WSI to continue serving FAA Flight Service Stations, where weather graphics have been provided since 1987. By government mandate, every product the FAA currently uses or will purchase must be Y2K-compliant by March 1999.
