Fiber Optic LAN Chosen by Raytheon Systems

Audio International's FiberLink fiber-optic local area network system has been chosen by Raytheon Systems for installation in the cabins of a Boeing 777 in executive configuration and in two BBJs. The system's high band-width accommodates up to 15 audio and video channels simultaneously, including entertainment systems, office equipment and telephones.

Each device on the network is fitted with a plug-and-play fiber-optic transceiver, which allows it to be mounted on or moved to virtually any location on the LAN. FiberLink saves weight, reduces installation time and virtually eliminates electrical noise problems.
