Free Air Security Package Given to Buyers of New Bombardier Jets

It's a natural.

That's the word from Issy Boim, president of Air Security, and Dave Orcutt, VP of customer support at Bombardier, about the new total security package now being offered, gratis for one year, with each new Global Express and Challenger 604 delivered.

"We sought out each other for this agreement," said Boim.

The SecureFlite package includes a day of customized security awareness training for flight department and crew; FliteBrief, which issues specialized destination reports for crew and passengers; the WORLD WATCH online Internet intelligence database; FliteWatch monitoring and warning systems; Daily Hot Spots e-mail updates; Hot Line for secure consulting; free GSM cellular phone for each trip; and special assistance products including Nanoseal, two QuickMasks, a security checklist and security kit.

The package is valued at $16,000. After the first year, operators can choose to continue the total package or select from a menu of security services.

The program is unique in the industry, Orcutt said, and is being considered for other Bombardier aircraft including the Learjet 31A, 45 and 60. Asked if he was seeking a "natural alliance" with other manufacturers, Boim merely smiled broadly.
