Heli-Mart Showing Red Box APU for Helicopters and Fixed-Wing Aircraft

Heli-Mart of Cost Mesa, CA, is touting its "Red Box" APU at this year's NBAA show. The self-contained, maintenance-free unit-which is designed for turboprops, jets and turbine helicopters-is available in three models that offer 600, 1500 or 1600 peak amps for starting, respectively. The stainless-steel encased APU can be carried onboard an aircraft and comes with a 110/220-volt charger. An optional onboard charger also is available. Prices start at $1,750.
