E-A-R Specialty Composites Offers Family of Skin-Damping Materials

E-A-R Specialty Composites of Indianapolis is showing its family of lightweight skin-damping materials for fuselage skin, bulkheads and thin panels for all types of commercial, corporate and general aviation aircraft at Booth 5138. The composites, which meet stringent FAR burn test requirements, combine the company's damping sheets and foams with an aluminum constraining layer and pressure-sensitive adhesive.
