U.E. Systems Touting Ultrasonic Inspection System for Leaks

U.E. Systems (Booth 6287) has come to NBAA 1998 to promote its Ultraprobe 2000, a multi-use ultrasonic inspection system for leak detection and mechanical analysis. The unit is used for detecting leaks in fuel cells, hot-air ducts, cockpit windows, actuators, valves and oxygen, pneumatic and cabin pressurization systems. The device senses leak-generated ultrasonic emissions between 20 and 100 KHz and electronically converts these sounds into the audible range, where they can be heard in headphones and register on an analog meter.
