You Think It's Dry Here?

The desert air in Las Vegas may be dry, but it's practically tropical when compared to the air inside airplanes. Cabin air can reach relative humidity levels as low as five percent, and such low levels can cause major discomfort to passengers and crews. To counter this problem, Le Bozec Filtration & Systems, teamed with Canada's Air Data Inc. (Booth 519), offers the Humispace Aircraft Humidifier.

The system has been granted an STC and is available for installation on all Gulfstream Vs.

To eliminate bacteria and minerals, the Humispace provides only pure vapor. Inside the GV, two sensors measure the ambient conditions and regulate the levels of humidity.

"The Gulfstream V is an ultra-long-range aircraft which can fly up to 14 hours nonstop, and the Humispace can assist in ensuring the executives arrive at their destination refreshed and able to perform at peak efficiency," said Air Data marketing director Neil Bronson.

Bronson can be reached via e-mail at mailbox@airdata.ca. For Le Bozec, e-mail Jean-Michel Traonvoez at lbfs@mail.clubt-internet.fr.
