Hydraulic Systems Testing Well Along for Premier I Dowty Aerospace reports that hardware qualifications testing on the hydraulic system equipment suite for the Raytheon Premier I entry-level business jet is nearing completion at the company's plant in Yakima, WA. Dowty, showing at Booth 2921, supplies seven items to the Premier, including the hydraulic control package, landing gear selector valve, nose- and main-landing gear actuators, main gear door actuators, uplock release actuators and nose gear downlock actuator. The company says it also has provided complete hydraulic system integration for the Raytheon Beechjet 400A/TI-A, which comprises 18 components per ship set, and "another Raytheon-built military aircraft," which incorporates 11 Dowty components. Customers who choose the total system integration approach enjoy the benefits of a simplified single-source supply of a range of products within the aircraft flight control and/or landing-gear hydraulic systems. These can include valves, manifolds, actuators, hydraulic fuses, reservoirs and accumulators, plus ancillary equipment like fittings, hoses, links and levers. Dowty says that turbine-engine components, elastomeric products and advanced technology propeller systems add to its capabilities as a strong partner for both turbojet and turboprop business aircraft requirements.
