Messier Services Makes NBAA Debut

Earlier this year, Messier Dowty and Messier Bugatti-two subsidiaries of French engine maker Snecma-joined up with Dowty Aerospace Aviation Services (which recently was acquired by Snecma) to create a worldwide maintenance, repair and overhaul network that specializes in aircraft landing systems.

The new MRO company, known as Messier Services (Booth 728) has come to NBAA 1998 to promote landing gear repair for a variety of business aircraft, including: the Bombardier Challenger and Global Express; Falcon 10, 20, 50, 900 and 2000; selected Sikorsky helicopters; and all Eurocopters.

Previously, Messier Dowty was known as a leading producer of landing gear, while Messier Bugatti specialized in braking and hydraulic systems. Within the new Messier Services organization, the roles of each of the service centers in the new international network have been redefined for greater efficiency.

Messier Services has facilities throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas, including North American locations in Miami, Toronto and Sterling, VA, the headquarters of the U.S. operation.
