Twenty More Hawkers for EJI

Executive Jet, Inc. has ordered another 20 Raytheon Hawker 800XP mid-size business jets and placed options for a further 16, under a contract valued at $670 million. The aircraft will be used in Executive Jet's rapidly expanding NetJets and NetJets Europe fractional ownership programs.

Executive Jet placed an order for 20 Hawker 800XPs in May 1997. The first aircraft in the new order will be delivered in the last quarter of 1999, and deliveries will continue until 2004. The new aircraft will be the first Hawkers to be assigned to NetJets Europe.

Owned by billionaire investor Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., Executive Jet manages 170 aircraft and adds three to five more aircraft each month. It's bought $3.8 billion worth of aircraft in the last three years.
