Wagner Gets Duncan Award

Bill Wagner, chief pilot of Townsend Engineering and chairman of the NBAA board of directors, has been named recipient of the first annual Duncan Aviation Excellence Award. The award will be presented by Robert Duncan, chairman of Duncan Aviation, and NBAA president John Olcott during the NBAA convention opening ceremony on Monday.

The Lincoln, NE, aircraft service and support company has established the annual award to recognize an individual for commitment and leadership in the aviation industry. "Bill Wagner is not only an accomplished and conscientious pilot, but a dedicated advocate for the business aviation community," said Robert Duncan.

Wagner started the corporate flight department at Townsend Engineering in 1978, and became a vice president in 1994. He has been a member of the NBAA Board since 1992.
