AirCruisers Debuts New Life Raft, Vest for General Aviation Operators

AirCruisers (Booth N3022)-the Belmar, NJ-based maker of life rafts for commercial aviation-has entered the general aviation market with the introduction of two new products here in Las Vegas.

The first product is a 13-person life raft that is certificated to TSO C70 and features a six-year maintenance interval on the inflatable section. A state-of-the-art foam insulated floor, which does not have to be inflated manually, protects occupants from hypothermia. The raft, which has an overload capacity of 20 people, also has internal and external lights to enhance visibility.

The second new GA product-the AC-2000 life vest-is inflated using CO2 and features a single waist strap and a quick-fit buckle to make donning and inflating easy. The vest is certificated to TSO C13F and is vacuum-packed in tamper-proof packing to facilitate security inspections. The packaging enables the vest to have a 10-year maintenance interval.
