Mitsubishi Returns to NBAA Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is at NBAA for the first time in 12 years, displaying with Turbine Aircraft Services (Booth 3030). Mitsubishi is teamed with TAS to support the MU-2, from which the Japanese company took product support responsibilities from Raytheon Aircraft at the end of this past March. Five service centers are handling MU-2 work: Crown Air in San Diego; Intercontinental Jet in Tulsa; Miller Aviation in Binghamton, NY; Jet Air in Green Bay; and Epps Aviation in Atlanta. Representatives of all team members will be on hand at Booth 3030 to greet MU-2 owners and operators. Col. Frank Borman, astronaut/pilot and former airline CEO, will be on
hand to talk to customers, too. Besides flying his recently restored WWII
P-63 fighter, Borman flies an MU-2B-40 Solitaire and has owned a number
of other MU-2s. | ||||||
