ACES Offers an Affordable Precision Balancing Analyzer Tennessee's ACES Systems (Booth 2709) is promoting the Model 2020 ProBalancer Analyzer it says differs from other "entry-level" balancing systems in that it includes a spectral analysis display. "Expandable views of the vibration spectrum allow detailed analysis of wide range vibration frequencies, helping to pinpoint anomalies and increase accuracy of balancing," ACES says. "The procedural based, visual functionality of the Model 2020 makes it easy for any technician to achieve optimum results with little training," said product manager Jerry Justice. The unit also allows simultaneous data input from two propellers or rotor axes, "to facilitate coordination of balancing." The Model 2020, with appropriate accessories to perform a helicopter rotor balance, costs less than $7,500.
