Howard Hughes Confidant Real is Here for Evergreen Museum

Howard Hughes friend and confidant Jack G. Real, who is retired president and CEO of McDonnell Douglas Helicopter, is here at Heli-Expo, talking up The Captain Michael King Smith Evergreen Aviation Educational Center in McMinnville, OR, on behalf of Evergreen Helicopter (Booth 2733). The facility, designed as a permanent tribute to Hughes, will house the Hughes HK-I Flying Boat (better known as the Spruce Goose). It will also showcase the oldest surviving Hughes 269A helicopter, which was designed and built by Hughes Tool in the early 1950s. The museum is slated to open in November 2000.
