Paravion Gets Agency Nod for Bell 407 IR Camera Mount

Colorado's Paravion Technology (Booth 2933) has gotten an FAA STC for an infrared camera mount for the Bell 407. "This mount was designed and approved with systems integrators in mind," the company says, noting that the quick-mount unit can accommodate such ancillary hardware as the SLASS, for slaved searchlight system, from Dynametric Systems. IR cameras mount "just forward of the forward cross tube," Paravion says. Images are thus unobstructed, "providing clear shots for law enforcement and ENG airborne operations." The Paravion IR mount comes in kit form. It sells for $6,695.00.
