Hurel-Dubois, Aermacch Form Joint Venture

Hurel-Dubois and Aermacchi will form a joint venture to provide nacelle systems. The two companies have already been selected by General Electric to provide the complete nacelle for the CF34-8D engine on the Fairchild Dornier 728 regional jet, with Hurel-Dubois providing the reverser and aft core cowl and Aermacchi providing the nose and fan cowls.

The new joint venture is aimed at the nacelle market for other aircraft with fewer than 100 seats.
