Thomson-CSF Communications has teamed with Infocom Systems A/S to win a contract from the Danish Air Materiel Command. The team will implement the communications network used by the Danish air defense system, HAWK, which is being upgraded. Thomson-CSF will be responsible for the global engineering of the system combining its ATS 2000 switches with the specialized DCS 2000 switches made by Infocom. The network will offer new data transmission services.
