Flight Refueling Gets Lockheed Martin Nod for KC-130J Pods

Flight Refuelling Ltd., a subsidiary of Cobham plc, was selected by Lockheed Martin to supply Mk 32B hose-and-drogue refueling pods for the KC-130J Hercules tanker, it was announced at the show on Monday. Initial customers include the U.S. Marine Corps (five aircraft) and the Italian Air Force (six out of a total of 18 C-130Js). The Hercules-optimized 32B-901E pod is carried under each wing and is able to refuel both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.
