AEROSPACE-NESHAP COMPLIANCE TRAINING FOR PROCESS OPERATOR PERSONNEL - NOW AVAILABLE ON INTERACTIVE CD

SACRAMENTO, CA - August 18, 1998 - EMAssist announced today that they have developed an interactive CD training program that will meet compliance training guidelines for the Aerospace NESHAP. A demo CD of the program is available by calling 1-800-EMA362-1753.
The training course provides operator- and managerial-level instructions for using solvents, coatings, coating strippers, and chemical milling maskants in a manner that complies with the requirements of 40 CFR 63, Subpart GG, "National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants at Aerospace Manufacturing and Rework Facilities" (Aerospace NESHAP). The CD can also be customized to include facility-specific information.
According to Dana Marcroft, President of EMAssist, "Clients are saying, ‘we like the idea of using interactive, multi-media training, because it eliminates our in-house labor instruction time, and provides consistent information to facility staff. Also, there is minimal virtually no downtime--and when we are inspected, we just show them the CD and Training list!’"
The interactive CD uses a continuous flow of moving on-screen text, video, and photographs. Students are required to constantly provide computer input and their knowledge can be tested after each section with review questions. The program creates a certificate for each student indicating which sections of the course were successfully completed, thus enabling easy and accurate documentation.
