Its a Eurocopter Rally!

ILA 2000: Eurocopter is out in force at ILA with no fewer than 17 commercial and military helicopters on show.

These range from the light five seat, single-engined EC 120 to the Tiger attack helicopter, and include the EC 155 (the redesigned Dauphin with a 40% larger cabin). Eight EC 155s were sold last year, the first corporate version has cracked the US market, and the helicopter was introduced nationwide in January by the German Border Patrol.

While light civil models predominate, Eurocopter is celebrating its military strategy as the Tiger rolls down the production line and the initial order for 196 NH90s is signed here at ILA-Europe's biggest ever helicopter program worth $4.2 billion.
