Lufthansa Technik to Service DaimlerChrysler
A319CJ
In an agreement inked just yesterday, Lufthansa Technik will
provide technical support, maintenance management and services,
engineering and spares support for DaimlerChrysler Aviation's
new A319CJ.
DCA, which is set to receive its operating certificate at the
end of the month, will take delivery of the aircraft in December.
The aircraft will have an all-first class, 48-seat interior. It
is scheduled to make five round trips per week between Stuttgart,
Germany and Auburn Hills, MI, beginning January. It's mission:
shuttling executives of DCA's automotive parent between the European
and North American headquarters.
DCA will operate two Learjet 60s, two Challenger 604s, and two
Gulfstream V aircraft in more traditional business aviation fashion.
