Fractional Falcons Forge Ahead

National Air Services (NAS) based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia has confirmed its order for 12 SATCOM-equipped Falcon 2000 business jets (10 purchased and two leased) for its NetJets Middle East fractional ownership program. NAS will market and sell the Falcon 2000 for NetJets Middle East. Executive Jet, Inc. will operate them.

The first two leased Falcons will be delivered in September and October 2000, with the first purchased aircraft following in March 2001. From then on, deliveries will continue at a rate of two per year. Dassault will provide all maintenance services for the 12-aircraft fleet on a per-hour basis. This contract brings to 54 the number of Falcon 2000s ordered by fractional ownership programs in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East.

Dassault claims that the Falcon 2000 now has a larger geographical presence in such programs than any other aircraft.
