Contrail Aviation Aims to Be Catalyst
in Supersonic Bizjet Development

People are talking about supersonic business jets (SSBJ) at this year's convention. In fact, people have been talking about SSBJs for a decade, since Gulfstream and Sukhoi announced a now-abandoned venture. Contrail Aviation believes they may go on talking forever unless someone with vision moves the project along to its next stage.

Accordingly, the company has amalgamated the generally similar features and performance of the Dassault, Sukhoi and Gulfstream projects into a notional aircraft specification. Those who are attracted by the proposal and its $60-65m price tag are invited to notify their interest to Contrail, which has further information available on www.contrailjets.com

As a second stage, refundable deposits of $100,000 will be placed in escrow, and when 50 have been collected, Contrail will contact the most suitable company or companies and offer them a ready-made order book to spur their efforts.
