Jet Aviation Expands in Dallas After Acquisition of Jet East

Jet Aviation has acquired the Jet East facility at Love Field, Dallas, TX in a move that will further consolidate Dallas' position as a primary regional, national and international source for business aviation. The new Jet Aviation facility has 62,000 square feet of hangar space and a further 103,000 square feet of ramp space. It is a factory-authorized Cessna Citation Service Center and also offers a comprehensive range of aircraft maintenance, charter management and sales--in addition to full FBO services.

"Jet East is a perfect fit because of the similarities in operations and particularly in corporate culture and management philosophy," said Jet Aviation chairman and CEO Thomas Hirschmann. "The company's outstanding reputation in the industry, its excellent customer base, and location made it a very attractive partner for us."

Love Field has recently undergone a multi-million dollar improvement project which increased access to the airport, where Jet Aviation customers will find all the services of a major airport at the convenience of an inter-city location. Through the fleet of 17 former-Jet East managed aircraft, which range from King Airs to medium-sized jets, Jet Aviation will also be able to further expand charter services in the area.
