CFE738 Inspection Interval Now Up to 2000 Hours

Major periodic inspection intervals on CFE738 engines have been extended to 2,000 hours, says CFE Company.

The engine's "demonstrated performance and reliability on (Dassault) Falcon 2000 aircraft" led to the change, said CFE president Walter Daub. Engine reliability is enhanced, according to the company, by time- and money-saving maintenance features such as fully automatic engine trimming, externally replaceable gearbox splines and a split compressor case design that provides greater accessibility.
CFE also offers what it calls "one of the industry's best standard warranties," including non-prorated coverage of all parts and labor for five years or 2,000 hours. AlliedSignal and General Electric are 50-50 partners in CFE.
