Bombardier Hails Learjet 45 as the 'Super-Light' Business Jet Market Leader

Hand-in-hand with the delivery of the 2,000th Learjet -- a Learjet 45 -- Bombardier has said that the Model 45 has captured 55% of all new deliveries in the 'super-light' section of the business jet market. From May 1998 to the end of June 1999 a total of 23 Learjet 45s were delivered and, as of mid-September, 40 were in service worldwide with another 10 in final completion. Total fleet time is 8,000 flight hours with a dispatch reliability record of 99.6%.
