Rockwell Collins Set to Commence TCAS
4000 Deliveries this Month

Rockwell Collins is scheduled to start deliveries of its new TCAS 4000 traffic alert and collision avoidance system this month. Almost 300 of the new systems are on order for business, charter and regional operators, according to the company. TCAS 4000 is said to be smaller, lighter and less expensive than earlier TCAS systems, and can display other traffic as much as 100 nmi away. It is fully compliant with the latest international requirements.
