Aerospace Products International Upgrades
E-Commerce System

Customer input has led the Memphis-based Aerospace Products International to develop an upgraded version of its Internet-based E-Commerce system. The new API package features real-time product pricing and availability, quoting, order status and notification, backordering, drop shipping, complimentary part numbers, alternate part numbers and search capabilities. API introduced its E-Commerce system at last year's NBAA convention in Las Vegas. The company says the changes were recommended during the product's "test phase," which concluded late in 1998. API will be demonstrating the improved version of its E-Commerce system at the NBAA convention this week at booth 5832. API is a part of the Westport, CT-based First Aviation Services. Other FAS subsidiaries include engine overhaul and repair provider National Airmotive.
