IHS Transport Data Solutions Releases

IHS TransPort Data Solutions, an IHS Group company, released AD Tracker, a software package that allows maintenance professionals to manage and track airworthiness directives (ADs) for FAA compliance. The product allows users to find all applicable ADs for an aircraft by model number. It keeps a historical record of ADs and a log of changes. AD Tracker provides a direct link to IHS' AV-DATA database. The database contains more than 14,000 ADs dating back to 1941, and is said to be updated daily. "AD Tracker makes finding documents easier than ever by automatically pulling up the relevant AD and making a record of it," said Tony Martinez, general manager of IHS TransPort Data Solutions. The system is available either on CD-ROM or via Internet download. Demonstrations and additional information are available at the IHS booth (#1650).
