Universal's Flight Management Systems Standard for King Air B200s and 350s

Universal Avionics Systems' UNS-1D and UNS-1K flight management systems will be offered as a standard option on all EFIS-equipped Raytheon Beech King Air B200s and King Air 350s by year-end. The two comprise a set of color flat-panel displays with built-in user-friendly features such as full airfield STAR/SID procedures. The UNS-1K has 4-inch displays while the UNS-1D offers 5-inch screens and a special graphics/video interface. "Raytheon Aircraft is responding to customer demand and bringing the best in FMS technology to the King Air B200 and 350," said Raytheon's worldwide Beech sales VP Brad Hatt. "Our customers can now select these very popular FMS units as standard production option," he added. More than 5,200 King Airs of 17 variants have been delivered to customers in 94 countries. The total fleet has accumulated over 20 million operating hours.
