EJS Picks AlliedSignal For
APU Maintenance
Executive Jet Service has picked AlliedSignal
Aerospace to provide maintenance repair and overhaul services
for all AlliedSignal auxiliary power units in its business jet
fleet.
Valued at more than $100 million, the ten-year contract will cover
around 300 business jets used by New Jersey-based EJS's various
fractional ownership programs.
"AlliedSignal Aerospace will be the single point of APU service
and maintenance, and will provide tailored maintenance programs
to meet their rigorous flight schedule requirements," says
Tom Johnson, AlliedSignal's VP and general manager for commercial
APUs.
The contract covers the AlliedSignal 36-150 APU for the Dassault
Falcon 2000, Raytheon Hawker 800XP, Cessna Citation X and Gulfstream
IV; the RE100 APU for the Citation Excel, Citation VII, Sovereign
and Hawker Horizon; and the RE220 APU for the Gulfstream V.
