EJS Picks AlliedSignal For APU Maintenance

Executive Jet Service has picked AlliedSignal Aerospace to provide maintenance repair and overhaul services for all AlliedSignal auxiliary power units in its business jet fleet.

Valued at more than $100 million, the ten-year contract will cover around 300 business jets used by New Jersey-based EJS's various fractional ownership programs.

"AlliedSignal Aerospace will be the single point of APU service and maintenance, and will provide tailored maintenance programs to meet their rigorous flight schedule requirements," says Tom Johnson, AlliedSignal's VP and general manager for commercial APUs.

The contract covers the AlliedSignal 36-150 APU for the Dassault Falcon 2000, Raytheon Hawker 800XP, Cessna Citation X and Gulfstream IV; the RE100 APU for the Citation Excel, Citation VII, Sovereign and Hawker Horizon; and the RE220 APU for the Gulfstream V.
