Raytheon Adds Hawker 800XP Simulator

FlightSafety International has added its first Raytheon Hawker 800XP simulator at the manufacturer's Wichita headquarters. The new level D simulator features Honeywell avionics, complete day and night simulation, and extensive ground and airport environment features. Available for type ratings, check rides and other training, the advanced simulator is located at the recently expanded Raytheon Learning Center. The center was expanded to accommodate training for Raytheon's newest aircraft -- the Premier I and Hawker Horizon. According to Raytheon officials, the Wichita learning center can now provide training on all of the company's aircraft. FlightSafety International operates the learning center and is the company's official factory authorized training organization.
