Taiwan Industry Seeks Helicopter Work

Taiwan's Aerospace Industry Association is here at Heli-Expo seeking partnerships with helicopter manufacturers.

Taiwan's AIDC already has considerable experience with international cooperation; it builds the entire cockpit section for the Sikorsky S-92 Helibus, and is a partner on the single engined Czech Aero Ae-270 Ibis turboprop aircraft.

The need for new programs gained further urgency just this week; Taiwan Aerospace delivered the last of 130 IDF twin-jet supersonic fighters it designed and built for that country's air force, opening up factory space for new work.
