Now Standard on Bells

An exhaust ejector/deflector assembly introduced for B212 and B412 helicopters by Alpine Aerotech (Booth 2118) two years ago is now a standard Bell Helicopter production line component, Alpine says, reporting that more than 250 shipsets are in operation with 45 customers in 15 countries. Products kicked off at last year's show and now close to U.S. and Canadian certification include a rear-seat shoulder harness restraint system for the Bell 212/412 and a pulse light recognition system. Being launched at this year's show, and here in prototype form, are a new exhaust duct retainer ring, and oil cooler support and main shaft access kits.
