German PW200 and PT6 Service Enhanced at Ludwigsfelde

Pratt & Whitney Canada has expanded its CSC Europe customer service center at Ludwigsfelde, Germany with installation of a new PW200 and renovation of a PT6 test cell there. Full PW200 overhaul capability is now offered at the site. The PW200 hit the European market in 1995, P&WC says, and is now the most popular twin helicopter engine on the market, powering the Eurocopter EC135 and Agusta 109E Power in addition to the McDonnell Douglas Explorer, Bell 427 and Kazan Ansat. CSC Europe and a sister P&WC facility in Britain between them provide maintenance for more than 600 engines per year.
