ATR, Air Deccan finalize GMA for ATR 72-500

A General Maintenance Agreement (GMA) was finalized yesterday between Air Deccan and ATR in front of one of the carrier’s aircraft on Le Bourget’s static display line. The GMA covers spare parts and maintenance for India’s first low-cost airline’s 30 new ATR 72-500s. The five-year MRO service agreement contract is worth over $90 million. It will include complete spares inventories on site, a pool service for standard exchange of parts, repair equipment and line-replaceable units, as well as the repair and overhaul of engines, propellers and landing gears.
