Smiths equipment for Eurofighter includes the four-nation aircraft’s multifunction head down display, right-hand glareshield, mission data loader/recorder, bulk storage device, direct voice input module, fuel computer and smart probes, inflight refueling probe, external fuel tanks, flight control actuators, combustion chamber outer case, auxiliary mounted accessory drive gearbox, and electrical connectors. The overall Eurofighter program is worth more than $1 billion to the Smiths Group.
