LFK Merger Happens Now
It’s going to happen. Here. At Last. At the Paris Air Show. Wednesday morning MBDA plans to announce the long-awaited integration of Germany’s EADS/LFK into the main body of MBDA Missile Systems. The contracts are with the lawyers, the press releases are ready — as soon as the deal is signed, the two become one. As MBDA chief Marwan Lahoud said Tuesday, “I’ve been telling you the deal has never been closer. Soon you’ll see I wasn’t joking.” —Robert Hewson
