High-Powered UK Delegation for Paris
The UK aerospace industry is present at Le Bourget with over 100 British companies, plus some high-powered political and military support. The ministerial presence is led by newly appointed defense procurement minister Lord Drayson and minister for the armed forces Adam Ingram. Additional ministers from Employment and Transport will also be representing the British government. No stranger to Le Bourget, Alan Garwood, now head of the Defence Export Services Organisation (DESO), is on his first official visit to the Paris Air Show since taking up this new position. He accompanies the new Chief of Defence Procurement, Sir Peter Spencer, and Air Chief Marshal Brian Burridge, Commander-in-Chief Strike Command, Royal Air Force.
