Dutch Defense Companies Join Forces

A group of medium-sized Dutch companies joined together on June 7 to provide complimentary services in fields ranging from development and electronics to mechanical engineering.

Currently the group consists of three companies that are keeping the number of members limited to maintain flexibility and effective cooperation.

According to Jol Hoeve of Finca Consulting, “Defense OEMs and first-tier suppliers intend to limit their number of suppliers, thereby reducing overhead cost. Offering a portfolio of services, the group will be able to produce complete subassemblies instead of single components.”
